We should have it ready in about a month from now so please bear with us here and we will deliver this functionality in the very next version of Avast Cleanup. This will give you full control about the product and when you would like to run it. Regarding the option to disable the Cleanup, let me inform you that we are already working on a new set of settings which will allow you to control whether you want to keep both Cleanup service and the UI process running when you close the actual Avast Cleanup window.

It also seems that Avast are not interested in resolving the issue of being able to turn it off. If I uninstall it will the license remain so that I can reinstall it again at a later date? Looking at posts on this forum it seems that this is a universal problem. I believe that Avast Clean Up may be the cause BUT I cannot disable it.
